Melinda Richardson
About Me.
Hi, I’m Melinda—a fertility concierge leader, global health advocate, and lifelong believer in the power of empathy, innovation, and individualized care.
As Head of Concierge Client Success at Doveras, I guide intended parents through one of the most personal and emotionally significant journeys of their lives: building a family. Whether through surrogacy, egg donation, or other fertility paths, I lead with experience, precision, and compassion—drawing on both my professional expertise and my own lived journey through fertility navigation.
My passion for this work was born not just from my career, but from my life. I’ve been through the complexities of fertility myself and have supported close friends as they grew their families with the help of donors and surrogates. I know firsthand how overwhelming, emotional, and isolating the process can be and how deeply people need not just services, but thoughtful support, clarity, and care.
With a background in high-touch client services, including work with family offices and high-net-worth individuals, I bring a deep understanding of the discretion, attention to detail, and personal sensitivity required in this space. I’ve spent more than a decade working across women’s health innovation, global health, and purpose-driven communications—consulting for organizations like the Gynecologic Research Foundation, CureCervicalCancer, and HITLAB, and leading strategic programming and communications for mission-driven initiatives on five continents.
Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, where I also interned at United Nations Headquarters at the Office for Partnerships. I earned a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell, and studied Philosophy and Political Science at Boston University, where I participated in their global internship program, working in the Lord Mayor of Sydney’s office in Australia.
I’ve had the honor of serving on the National Council of the United Nations Association of the U.S., and as Chair of the Board of the UNA Young Professionals in New York City. I’ve spoken at the United Nations on youth engagement and advocacy and have curated and led conferences on health tech and healthcare innovation.
Outside of my work, I’m usually behind a camera—practicing nonprofit and meditation retreat photography across the globe (Nepal, Spain, Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya… so far!). I live in Brooklyn, New York with my sweet and sassy 14-year-old chiweenie, Penny, and when I’m not working or traveling, I’m working my way through visiting every U.S. National Park—one hike and scenic vista at a time.
If you’re navigating your own family-building journey or simply want to connect around wellness, women’s health, or mindful living—welcome. I’m so glad you're here.
